Sometimes, people working at a nine to five job lack the motivation to work as hard as they probably should. But this is not necessarily their fault. Many offices are as bland as an unseasoned piece of broccoli and employees feel a sense of detachment to the office as opposed to the warmth of their home. Companies should want their employees to feel at home during their time at work without making it too comfortable.
One great way to increase the efficiency and drive of the entire work force is to have those who work in it, decorate the workspace with art for the office. Anything that is appropriate would be allowed and it would really show that the company cares for its employees. Sometimes, a small gesture like that can actually make people work harder.

When people feel like they are a closer group that can benefit from one another, they will band together on a project that will serve the group better in the long run. So do not overlook the little things like a splash of color in the office.
